We helped to develop a new scheme for LACE Housing in Nettleham, Lincoln.
The new homes designed for those aged 55 and over, consist of 14 two-bedroom bungalows and 22 two-bedroom apartments.
The development was constructed by Lindum Group and handed over in December 2019.
The properties will be for rent or purchase through shared ownership, part of LACE Housing’s commitment to respond to the government’s target to develop 300,000 new homes per year by the mid-2020s.
We assisted the project by acting as both the development agent and clerk of works, collaborating with Lindum Group, West Lindsey District Council, Thornton-Firkin LLP, Saunders Boston and HWD Architects.
Councillor Owen Bierley, Deputy Leader of West Lindsey District Council, said: “We all know that access to good-quality housing is the foundation upon which people can build happy and successful lives and communities. Therefore, we are especially pleased to be working in partnership with LACE Housing.”
The development has been made possible thanks to a £1,350,000 grant from Homes England as part of the Shared Ownership and Affordable Homes programme.
